Editing 2

The title our group agreed on is “The Significance.” We chose this because it reflects how one moment sets off the next, showing a clear chain of cause and effect. We used only one font, Futura Bold, and kept it large to highlight the central idea of the film opener. A few visual effects were added, including the music, the fading of audio, and the smooth shifts between scenes, which all helped create a steady sense of sadness throughout the piece. The transitions mainly came from switching between different camera angles filmed in the same location.

For the audio, we recorded on a separate device instead of relying on the camera. Using voice memos made the sound clearer and easier to understand. Filming came with several challenges, such as people being absent, someone dealing with injuries, and others needing to leave early. Even with these setbacks, everyone contributed and stayed committed to finishing the project.

Editing has taken around three hours so far, and with the remaining adjustments, it will likely reach about five hours in total. Isabel handled the editing on her own since she already knows how to work with the software and could move through it easily. The last scene we still need to capture is the hallway moment. It has been a little difficult to schedule, but it will be completed before the deadline. Overall, this project has taught us a lot and has helped us build determination and confidence as we continue working.
