                         Preparing to film 

I believe that during the making of the film, we'll run into a mix of challenges and easier moments as we get ready to film. Actors: Tatianna, Azmina, Relysia, and Isabell already understand their characters well, which helps, but finding times when everyone is available might be difficult. Costumes: We're using simple, muted school outfits that match the emotional tone of the story, and while they're easy to put together, keeping them consistent across different filming days may take some time. Props: We only need a few items like backpacks, notebooks, and tissues, so gathering them is simple, but staying organized between scenes will help keep things running smoothly. Locations: The school bathroom and hallways fit the film perfectly, though getting those spaces quiet enough to use could be a challenge, especially during busy hours. Dates and Times: We haven't set exact filming dates yet, but we plan on working during the weekends, after school, or during short breaks when everyone is free and the locations are less crowded. Scripts: Since all four of us helped write the script, the story feels natural, even though delivering the lines in a realistic way will take some practice. Film Equipment. We'll be using a phone camera, tripod, and basic lighting; the setup is simple, but getting the lighting to match the mood may take some experiencing. Overall, the preparation shows how much coordination and communication we need before filming actually begins.

In this blog, I will be exploring different camera movements, showing how each one can change the way we see a scene. I’ll explain what each shot does, how it affects the audience, and why it’s used in filming Tilt: The shot begins at the student’s feet and tilts upward, capturing her hands as she struggles to choose a book. By leaving her face out of frame, the tilt emphasizes her hesitation through gesture and movement rather than expression. Depending on the pace, the shot can serve different purposes. At normal speed, it presents an ordinary moment, while in slow motion, it builds suspense and highlights the difficulty of her choice. Steadicam: This Steadicam shot captures two friends studying in the library. As they continue their work while talking with others around them, the shot creates a natural and realistic atmosphere. Even without words, you can feel the support between them through their body language and how they lean toward each other. The black‑and‑white filter adds to the mood, making the scene feel heavier and more focused on their emotions instead of the background. The eye‑level angle keeps everything honest and simple, almost like you’re witnessing the moment in real time.
