Classmates Blog Commentary

                           Commenting on Classmates Blogs

In this blog, I'll be sharing my thoughts on some of the camera shots and angles from two of my classmate's blogs.

Classmate#1: Laiba; https://laibap-09.blogspot.com/2025/08/classmates-commentary-dd.html

A close-up shot: This is shot of Laiba's friend Marta. The camera is angled directly at Marta’s face, allowing the expression to take full focus. This type of shot highlights detail and emotion, and in this case, it strongly conveyed a look of shock and speechlessness. The setting of the library added to the atmosphere, giving the image an eerie and suspenseful mood. It made me curious about what Marta had just witnessed to cause such a reaction.

Two Shot: This shot shows two of Laiba's friends looking at each other. The way they were facing gave off a suspicious vibe, almost like they didn’t trust one another or were hiding something. Two shots usually highlight the relationship between characters, and this one really showed tension between the two people.

Mid-Shot:
This shot shows Laiba's friend Tati. In the picture, Tati looks really cheerful, and her smile instantly makes the photo feel bright and positive. The library setting in the background adds a calm vibe, almost like it’s a safe, happy place for her. Even though it’s not a close-up shot, you can still clearly read her emotions, and the mid-shot makes it feel more natural.

Classmate #2: Tatiana; https://tati030409.blogspot.com

Wide shot: This shot shows Tatiana's friend, Jesus. In the photo, Jesus is looking around, almost like he’s trying to spot where his friends are sitting. Because the shot captures more of the background, you can see the rows of books and open space, which makes him look a little small compared to his surroundings. It gives off a sense of him being alone for a moment, almost like he’s lost in the crowd while searching.

Point of view shot: This is a point of view shot of Tatiana reading her favorite book. The angle makes it feel like you’re the one holding the book and looking down at the pages with her. It creates a personal and cozy feeling, almost like you’re sharing the moment with her as she gets lost in the story. The way the shot is framed makes the reader feel connected to what she’s doing, as if you’re experiencing the book right alongside her.

Aerial shot: This shot shows Tatiana's friend Marta, taking a picture of their other friend, Laiba. The higher angle made the whole scene feel more open, almost like you were watching the moment from above. It gave the photo a playful vibe, since it caught one friend in the middle of snapping a photo of another. The angle also made the interaction between them stand out, showing how casual and fun the moment really was.
